Just like Dad, Mom also went to 7 schools! She graduated with the degree in BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN COMMERCE (Accounting) from the ATENEO DE DAVAO UNIVERSITY.
Right after taking the CPA licensure board examination, she joined the government via the DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION, CULTURE & SPORTS on 18NOV86. Later, on 16SEP88, she transferred to the DEPARTMENT OF BUDGET & MANAGEMENT as an accountant.
While she dreamt of being a writer and be able to travel around the world, she shelved all those dreams and faced reality: that dreams, at times, remain just that - dreams. Harsh though it may be, she can't be able to pursue her dreams basically due to financial constraint...
Sometimes, she jots down her own thoughts and make them into a poem or a song... Sometimes, she sends applications to companies abroad in the hope of being taken in and be able to make a part of her dream come true... Sometimes, she looks far away in the distant and smiles - simply daydreaming...
But, a happy family is never a dream for her! It's a reality and we are living it from day to day. We love our Mom and someday, in a not too distant future, we hope to help her realize her dreams...
