Daddy Nick went to a lot of schools since grade school, about seven schools in all! In 1985, he earned the degree in BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING from the UNIVERSITY OF MINDANAO.  Started playing with a band in college as a lead guitarist, Dad hopped from one job to another. He had been a working student while in college and moved on from there...
While his stay with LUX MARKETING, INC. might have been his best career to date, he had to resign from his MAKATI CITY-based company just to be with his family back in DAVAO CITY...
But, just the same, as luck would have it, he landed in a job in a nearby city, GEN. SANTOS CITY... Our consolation is that he is able to come home every Saturday evening but, then, had to leave for work again at Monday dawn.
What a life to live! Working away from one's very own family all for the sake of the family! I wonder when God would bless us with the opportunity of having our Dad work just within the city and be able to come home for supper every night while Nadine & I are still growing and very much wanting of his presence!!!
... And, finally, Dad has found a job in Davao City! God bless CMAR and its owner! Our one and only dream of having a Dad with us at home has been granted... |

INTERESTS... Daddy Nick simply loves music! He plays musical instruments: guitar, banjo, piano, flute... He has tried composing songs, too! He even tried his luck in every competition he knew when he was younger then, but was never able to bag the 1st prize. Well, the best he was able to get was a 3rd place and some citations to rekindle those moments...
Whenever possible, Mom & Dad go out on Friday nights to watch affordable local band shows. On their own, they look like newly-weds on their honeymoon... They are each other's best friend and we kind of like the way our parents treat each other!
Out of Dad's desire to have his own audio system whithout shelling out much of his hard-earned money, he has also become an electronic enthusiast!
Dad loves rock, jazz, rhythm & blues... and has a variety of collection of cassette tapes and, lately, CDs...
And, while he turns the volume real loud when he listens to his music, that doesn't mean that he's got a loud personality.
Our Dad is so cool and nice! He is our very best friend!!! Nadine & I believe that he is the best DAD in the world! Mommy thinks that he is the best HUSBAND, too! And DAD simply adores his family, too! How's that to start a bet with? Well, what are families for, anyway?
